In spring 2008 I went to a tech conference and the boss wanted me to shop for audience response systems - clickers. So I did and $10,000 later we owned 3 nice sets. About a month later I sat their thinking that with computers, especially laptops, and the Internet these clickers are soon to be gone. So I did some searching and found no on-line classroom response systems that you can use on-the-fly. So I built one which I call
QuickieQ. With a full keyboard, mouse, and screen there is so much more you can do vs those little handhelds. Feel free to check it out and pass it along to anyone who might be interested. It is a great tool for small assessments and for fostering classroom discussions.
