Hey there! Yep, your description is EXACTLY my impression of Prague when I was there.
Things here are...crazy! 4 hours a week non-contact time for 6 different prep periods. Plus reports, parent nights, IB paperwork, CIS/WASC accreditation, oh yeah, then there's that 'teaching' business...something about groups of adolescents congregating in a common area and wanting something from me...learning or some-such business! ;-)
Not to mention my OWN munchkins! (classroom xmas parties, holiday cards, sleepovers, homework that's not getting done...) And there's some man who lives in my house...I forget his name...wears a wedding ring like mine, looks really familiar...

No, but, seriously, things are alright. Things are changing for the better, so I'm hanging in there, though we DO miss Europe!
Moving very fast here - typical WIS Autumn term. At the moment we are charging up for introduction of laptop scheme - teachers get theirs Jan 09, kids (7/12) Aug09. Lots to do in the meantime as you can imagine
